Most recently, Carlos served as Commercial Director of Mexico’s Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico (GAP), overseeing the commercial operation of various airports.
- The founding team has a robust track record of success with a fantastic reputation within the air transport industry in LAC and across the globe. Previously colleagues at Corporacion Quiport, Andrew and Carlos launched Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport in 2013. This became the first and is currently the only airport in South America to receive a 5-star Skytrax rating for its exceptional facilities, comfort and cleanliness, shopping, food and beverages, staff service, and security and immigration. Both founders are also active members of the Airports Council International (ACI), with Andrew serving as the President for the past two years and currently, as member of the board. Carlos has chaired and been a member of several international committees within ACI, where he has worked on the development of best practices in the industry. ACI represents airports interests with governments and international organizations, develops standards and policies, recommends practices for airports, and provides information and training opportunities to raise standards around the world.
